Monck Lake to Cup Lake Portage

Just to the north of Highway 118, Monck Lake could be mistaken for two separate lakes. Paddle just the lower, smaller part, the larger upper lake, both, or simply scoot straight up both to the portage to Cup Lake at the northern end of Monck Lake.  There's a nice little campsite at the portage.  Spend the night before moving on to Cup Lake or use the site as a picnic area and walk the 300m portage to and from just to stretch your legs before heading back down the lake.  Note that there are two areas to launch from, again broadening your options for exploring this interesting lake.
